Boxes, Boxes and more Boxes

Well we finally got moved into our new to us house.  It's been a long road and still more road to go.  Moving week was busy and went really well.  They got us loaded without any problems on Wednesday and then unloaded Thursday.

I've gotten the kitchen, dining and laundry rooms completely finished.  The den and living room are currently being worked on.  Upstairs still looks like it did from moving day.  Everything is just stacked around.

I've been visiting some of my favorite blogs in hopes to get some inspiration on how I want my rooms to look.  One of my all time favorites is Posie Gets Cozy.  Her house looks so warm and cozy and that is how I'd like ours to look.  I can't wait to work on my craft room but I need to set some priorities right?  Guest room needs to get setup in case we have visitors, master bedroom needs to be finished so we stop meandering through the forest of boxes and we desperately need to finish unpacking downstairs so I can see where I want our furniture to be spaced out.

We have a red cardinal who visits everyday and likes to peck at all the windows.  He makes his rounds to all the windows and back again.  He's my little buddy but can be quite annoying.  He's pecking as I write at the back sliding door. He has the windows so dirty so I know I'll be cleaning windows in the fall.  Need to add that to the project list.

Ah the project list.  I'll have to share that with you all in the next post.  We have several goals for the year and they are all coming along nicely.  We are adding to it almost daily it seems and I have to remember we have time.  Time to enjoy... time to unwind... we'll get there.
